Increase your Net Speed

Fed up with slow Internet!!! Well guys this surely will speed up things for you.

What does the following setting do?
How will it help in speeding up the net?

Whenever you have an internet setting done on your computer it sets up various ports to communicate with the server. One such port is 'Communication Port(COM1)' which is responsible for receiving the data. The Following setting increases the 'Bits per Second' that is received by your computer thus resulting in improved net speed.



>>
Go to your 'Desktop'

>>
Right Click on 'My Computer'

>>
Go to 'Manage'

>>
This will open 'Computer Management'

>>
Look for 'Device manager'

>>
Click on 'Device manager'

>>
Now you will see a window of Device manager in the right pane


>>
Then go to 'Ports'

>>
Look for 'Communications Port(COM1)'

>>
Double Click on 'Communications Port(COM1)'


>>
This will open a new dialogue box of 'Communications Port (COM1)Properties'

Select the 'Port Setting
' tab

>>
Now increase your 'Bits per second' to 128000.

and change 'Flow control' to 'Hardware'.
